We are inviting legal professionals to join our vibrant team in Thailand !!
This is a direct opportunity / In-house with Adecco – Thailand.

Job Descriptions: 

  • Provide quality and timely business strategic partnership for Asia region countries, including Thailand
  • Effective review of and sound advice on legal contract reviews across several portfolios and countries. Able to discuss business and legal / contract concepts fluently in Thai and English. Required to communicate, review and draft contracts (including local and/or regional) and other documents of varying complexity in English on a day-to-day basis. Also required to communicate with Thai colleagues and clients to understand sales decisions and strategies with a view to effective and efficient contract review.
  • Support and partner with business teams on legal & compliance matters and advisory (including legal updates, business initiatives), ensuring excellence in service and value-adding advice
  • Manage and advise on other contract-related matters, which may include corporate law/secretary matters, commercial and supplier contracts, data protection compliance, labour law, litigation and dispute resolution, etc.
  • Review and implement Company policies and procedures focusing on risk mitigation, including identifying and implementing initiatives in improving contract review and risk management processes within the regional Legal & Compliance team, education and awareness (training) etc.
  • Ensure implementation and execution of Group policies
  • If necessary, supplement in-house legal work with carefully selected outside legal counsel, direct and monitor their activities in a cost-efficient way
  • Stay informed of and anticipate regulatory developments in all relevant areas of law, and advise management appropriately, designing effective implementations
  • Collaborate with other legal colleagues in the countries and region
  • Carry out thought leadership initiatives to promote the function internally and externally

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in contract review (preferably in-house in a multinational and/or publicly listed company).
  • Strong experience and track-record in contract review, managing and improving contract processes and quality of contract reviews, and legal compliance.
  • Understanding of contract / employment concepts in both civil and common law jurisdictions preferred,
  • Knowledge and familiarity with the following laws preferred: contract & company law, data protection and employment law.
  • Experience in a top international law firm preferred.
